CNY IS OVER!

Today is the 15th day of the CNY, Chap Goh Mehlah. Received some sad news. PY passed away becos of breast cancer. How sad! It is only within these few months that another two of my friends passed away. AD and BD! Well, that's life, I suppose. We come into the world and when it's time that we go home to the Lord, we go. Everything is in the Lord's hands.

Supposed to be in BM carrying some formation but due to unforeseen circumstances, decided not to go as there is no point for me to be there at all after what FFX has told EK. I emailed him and I supposed as I sounded cheesed off, he called me just before mass. Of course, I missed the call but I refused to call back.

Today's the hottest day that I had overcome. Heat rash which started with my arms have now spread to the whole body. Oh, how itchy, they can be. Mum's talcum powder have not helped much. So, what to do, ah. Aiya, and next week is Sports Day. Luckily, I dont have duty in the fieldlah. Please dont tell me that I need to see CKF becos of that, ish.

CNY Celebrations

What a celebration!!
Yep, it was good to have Mum, WT, YN, WC and PK to be in the apartment for CNY. Lots of food which means lots of cooking. Poor me, being chief chef, maid, cleaner and nurse since last Wednesday after I brought mum home for CNY.

Was so tired out on the eve that I missed CNY mass the next day and mum was very upset. She actually cried. Aiyo, had to take some time to console her, he, he, my fault because I stayed up late to make some radish cake.

Second day of CNY saw us at WT's place for a steamboat dinner -- I enjoyed it 'cos I didnt have to do the preparation and the washing up. On top of that, walloped 4 big prawns. Yummy, such fresh prawns! WT really can get good prawns from his place - I suppose they are so near to Batu Kawan fishing village.

3rd day of new year - aiyoh, my turn to cook and I steamed kampung chicken and sausages (both pork and liver). They liked the kampung chicken most! The ginger garlic sauce was very tasty. I purposely kept half of the chicken as I wanted to make salted drunken chicken for the next day.

4th day - Had the drunken chicken and my, it is so................ tasty! Made a dish of mushroom platter on a bed of small pak choy - very tasty, too. Not much left for dinner. WC wanted some more liver sausage n I dont know why he loves liver sausages so much.

5th day tomorrow - oh dear, tis the season of Lent and I am supposed to be fastinglah. Going for seafood dinner at Batu Kawan. I must have my crabs and prawns, ok. Forgive me, Lord. I will fast another time.

NG is visiting tm. I dont mind her visiting but TG is another cup of tea (always so pahpai wan).

Such boring writing ya. Ok, I'll stop now and do something else.
