Yes, alleluia, praise God that the conference was a success. The main problem was the food - some of it tasteless, amount inadequate, the opening lunch was a disaster as we had gatecrashers who helped themselves to the free food as if they have not eaten for a long time!
It was wonderful to be able to work with a tremendous team who not only worked hard but at the same time consoled me and motivated me whenever there were moments of frustration and depression. Cheers to all these people.
The delegates liked the conference so much that they wanted another one to be held even before this one ended. Perhaps we may have another one in two years' time - that would be my swan song if I have to coordinate again.
This conference really shows our students' potential if we would only believe in them and give them an opportunity to run their own conference.
You are just great, ladies and gentlemen (I am not going to call you girls and boys). You have done your school and country proud wherever you come from.
I just couldnt believe that Facebook was spammed with all your photographs, tagging and adding of each other as friends. Personally, I was also caught up with these.
Some students have already seriously started thinking of how to put the resolutions into action in their own schools. Isnt it great? I myself just couldnt believe the impact of this conference will be so great!!
HWI is also going to include SGGS into their conference invitation list-how great!
Of course, I feel very, very tired but happy and satisfied that I am able to do something that benefitted our youth so much.
Thank God and praise Your Holy Name!
